“While I’m gone,” Gansey said, pausing, “dream me the world. Something new for every night.”
Why I chose this?
I mean how could I not after that ending with Ronan and Chainsaw. He dreamt of her and she appeared. That’s enough to get my curiosity flowing.
What it’s about

Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same. Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after…

First Impressions
Even though I read book one (which you can find the review here), Ronan wasn’t quite what I pictured here as the man on the front can only be Ronan surrounded by a plethora of Ravens. The idea of things from Ronan dreams coming to fruition is defiantly something that has intrigued me and I look forward to seeing what happens to Blue and her Raven Boys especially since Noah is still in the picture.
What I Thought
This wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Like I expected Ronan to be a bit of a shit but after that is it any wonder why he is like he is?
Ronan’s character development in this book was phenomenal, I really wasn’t expecting to go so in-depth to his character and it felt raw. to have gone through so much at a young age would make anyone feel out of sorts but his family dynamic is something else.
I wasn’t 100% sure what was going on with Adam at some points but I appreciate that he is able to keep his temper in check and hasn’t turned into his father. Adam has also gone through a lot within a short space of time but I didn’t like the fact that he was in a way trying to force himself onto Blue. I know it wasn’t in a rapey way but just because they’re friends it doesn’t mean that he is entitled to a kiss. I am glad she stood up for herself and I could see that reaction from a mile off because I would have done the same thing.
Gansey and Blue need to do something soon. I know the suspense is there for a reason but they’re not going to kiss until the end of book 4. I am happy that Blue has had her first kiss even if it was with Noah (good shout Noah since the dead can’t die). Poor bugger, he needed it after being lobbed out of a window by Ronan.
We did get to meet a new character called The Grey Man which I am still unsure about. There is more to him than meets the eye and his story isn’t finished yet.
I haven’t got much to say on Gansey at the moment as he hasn’t really changed, I think Gansey will be Gansey until he finds what he’s looking for and then he’ll move onto a new obsession.
Now to move on to Blue Lily Lily Blue.
