“Don’t tell the others,” Gansey said.
“I’m dead,” Noah replied, “not stupid.”
Why I chose this?
Missing mothers, ghosts and dreams that come to life. Yeah, I need to see where this is going.
What it’s about

The third instalment in the all-new series from the #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater
Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.
The trick with found things, though, is how easily they can be lost.
Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.
Author

New York Times bestselling author of The Shiver Trilogy, The Raven Cycle, and The Scorpio Races. Artist. Driver of things with wheels. Avid reader.
All of Maggie Stiefvater’s life decisions have been formed by a desire to leave a mark, resulting in spray-painted cars, sharpie-covered computer printers, ink-splattered walls, and stories told in books, in magazines, and on stages. Maggie Stiefvater lives in the middle of nowhere, Virginia with her husband, kids, and a bunch of fainting goats.
First Impressions
First of all, I am loving the blue and green on the cover, it’s so earthy, natural and fresh and the colours look to be healing colours which I think is what the group and the psychics need. I am sure Persephone will agree with me on this. I also think it’s clever for the ravens and leylines to make an appearance.
What I Thought
Now I appear to be in a minority with my rating as everyone has been raving about this and a lot are saying it’s their favourite book but I felt this felt a little meh.
I am continuing at the moment because I want to see if they find glyndŵr but I felt like the pacing slowed down in this and things are left up in the air. I for one wanted to hear more about Blue’s curse and thought since it’s called Blue lily, Lily blue we’d get more insight but alas we did not.
This is not to say I didn’t enjoy it but I felt like it wasn’t on par with the other two in the series.
I also thought that Maura’s disappearance and reappearance could have had more smoke and mirrors type of thing to it but I don’t want to say too much at this stage.
I still love the characters, I think my biggest problem as I mentioned earlier was the pacing.
