“He was a book, and he was holding his final pages, and he wanted to get to the end to find out how it went, and he didn’t want it to be over.”
Why I chose this?
I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WITH BLUE’S CURSE AND IF THEY EVER FIND THE KING!!!
What it’s about

The fourth and final installment in the spellbinding series from the irrepressible, #1 New York Times bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater
All her life, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love’s death. She doesn’t believe in true love and never thought this would be a problem, but as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore.
Author

New York Times bestselling author of The Shiver Trilogy, The Raven Cycle, and The Scorpio Races. Artist. Driver of things with wheels. Avid reader.
All of Maggie Stiefvater’s life decisions have been formed by a desire to leave a mark, resulting in spray-painted cars, sharpie-covered computer printers, ink-splattered walls, and stories told in books, in magazines, and on stages. Maggie Stiefvater lives in the middle of nowhere, Virginia with her husband, kids, and a bunch of fainting goats.
What I Thought
I am conflicted with that ending. Don’t get me wrong it was great but it wasn’t quite the happily ever after I was anticipating from a four-book build up.
I think after reading all four it’s more about the characters and the journey rather than the destination. The characters have done a lot of growing up and discovering things about themselves they didn’t know they were capable of. Ronan more than most in my opinion as he’s gone from a young boy who watched his dad be brutally murdered because of his gift, to embracing his own gift and heart and stepping up when he’s needed to help get shot of a demon that’s threatening Cabeswater.
The plot flowed smoothly throughout the series and I definitely have a soft spot for the characters (I wished there was more of Noah) including Henry who by the end felt like a replacement for Noah but not necessarily in a bad way.
I may have to do a reread of this series in the future as I feel like I’m missing something others have seen as I have seen this rated a lot higher than what I have done and I don’t think I’d regret it.
