What it’s about

You know that saying, things can’t possibly get worse? They always can.
I thought I’d hit rock bottom when I turned sixteen. The day I broke my first love’s heart, ending things before I could ruin his career as a rock star.
But damn, was I wrong.
Things got progressively worse from that moment on, until now. Eight years later, when I find myself homeless, jobless, covered in blood, and running from a ghost of my past.
Angelo Ricci–the second boy I ever loved–knows I saw him shoot a man. He’s coming for me, has men out all over the city looking for me, and if they find me I’m as good as dead.
But I’m not giving up so easily. I’ll do whatever it takes to escape the Ricci family’s wrath, even if it means seeking sanctuary with the most unlikely, and unwilling of allies.
Bellerose is the hottest rock band in the world right now–in popularity and looks–and it’s just my luck that I stumble into their laps while running for my life. It’s not the best plan to hide out on their tour, but it’s the best I’ve got.
Except, the only person that Bellerose’s frontman hates more than Angelo Ricci… might be me. Too damn bad. Jace owes me. After all, I’m Billie Bellerose.
Author

Jaymin Eve is the Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling author of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and sci-fi novels filled with epic love stories, great adventures, and plenty of laughs. She lives in Australia with her husband, two beautiful daughters, and a couple of crazy pets. To date, she has sold over three million ebooks, and still can’t believe that she gets to create fantasy worlds as a job.
For action, adventure, romance, and a guaranteed HEA, start one of her series today.

ate James is a USA Today Bestselling Author of Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy and sometimes dabbles in Romantic Suspense. She was born and raised in the Land of the Long White Cloud (New Zealand) but now lives in Australia with her husband, babies and furbaby.
She is a lover of books, red wine, cats and coffee and is most definitely not a morning person. She is a bit too sarcastic and swears too much for polite society and definitely tells too many dirty jokes.
What I Thought
I’m not a huge lover of RH romances, although I have read them before. However, as it was Jaymin Eve and Tate James I thought I would give this the benefit of the doubt.
Boy was I glad I read this. So not only is there a rockstar trope, we also have mafia which I think makes for an interesting combination.
We start off y meeting our heroine Billie Bellerose who is down on her luck. She has no job and is made homeless by chapter 2. Just when she thinks her luck is turned around she gets unintentionally involved with the mafia so runs for it.
This is when the book starts to get interesting as she bumps into the band her ex boyfriend founded and in a nutshell goes on the road with them.
Billie is certainly an interesting character who still has a few secrets that I am not sure I can wait until February to find out (why do you do this to yourself Laura!!). She’s smart, but she’s so vulnerable that whenever Jace (the jilted ex) calls her a uncouth name my heart breaks for her. Thank goodness she has the other three members who have her back when Jace is being like this. More so Rhett and Grayson.
Out of these two boys I’m swaying to the more outgoing and troubled Rhett rather than tall brooding and what a surprise troubled Grayson. Although I think there is more to both of these I would love to know more about Grayson’s history.
I adored this book and devoured it in one day it’s just such a shame that I am way too impatient and can’t read the whole sereis now.
